Doctor's Appointment Shots

Monday, August 3, the kids had their well-child check-ups. Cooper's was in for his 12month appt and Cadence was in for her 3 -yr-old appt. Oh, how they are growing so quickly!!! They were great for Dr. McKenna and the nurses. Cadence kept noticing all the things they were doing so she could do them at home with her doctor kit. She labeled the stethascope. Cooper was walking, walking, walking. Back and forth, back and forth. He loves to walk now. I attempted to download a video the other day, but the computer kept rejecting it:(
All of us did "Snap That Dinosaur Out of the Tree" with an alligator and dinosaur they had in the toy drawer. Cooper LOVED it and kept signing alligator and snaping. Chris gave him his first sucker. He is a natural at eating it!!! He just shoves it in his mouth any way he can.
At the end of the appt., the nurses gave the kids their shots. Cadence got one. Cooper got 4! They were brave, but still cried a little. This is one of my new favorite pictures! How priceless are those faces!!!
My baby is a big boy. They said he weighs 24 lbs. 15 oz. 77%, and is 31 inches tall, 85%. I think the weight is off a little because he only gained 1 1/2 lbs in the last 3 1/2 months and dropped from 95% to 77%.
Cadence weighed 33 lbs 4 oz. and is 76% and her height is 37 3/4 inches, 75%.

Love the crying picture! Too cute! I think it's just as hard being the mom and having to watch them get the shots!
